Outside Edge, written by Richard Harris, is the story of the relationship between two couples, united only by the fact that both play for a Sunday League Cricket Team.
Wealthy Roger Dervish is imperious and self-absorbed, while his wife Miriam is the long-suffering anchor (and occasional doormat) in the marriage.
Their opposite numbers are the Costellos: slovenly Kevin and his outgoing, sexually supercharged wife, Maggie.
