The game is afoot in this adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s novel which first introduced the world to Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.
In 1881, Dr John H Watson, newly returned from war, is introduced to the eccentric Sherlock Holmes and drawn into a mystery where a dead body is found with no apparent injury and the only clue to the murder being the word ‘RACHE’ scrawled above it, leaving the police without a clue.
Our intrepid duo ends up unfurling a tale spanning two continents and numerous twists, in this debut tale of one of literature’s best known detectives and his companion, adapted with a comedic touch for the stage by Bart Lovins.
